I spent a week trying to build, and deploy, a "Hello World" web part using Microsoft tools and doco, and scouring the web. Eventually, I "gave up", and just installed WSPBuilder, and then, in 10 minutes, with no hiccups, I had "Hello World" coded (in C#), a wsp built, and the wsp deployed to the server farm. This is the best VS add-on I have ever seen - and it's free! Great work.

No question; after doing this for a while and complaining about how difficultly all of this blasted XML was behaving, I contemplated writing this exact piece of software. If you were a woman I would kiss my wife!
