Change the scope value

i am just new to wspbuilder and i am wondering if it is possible to change scope afterwards, because i have downloaded sourcecode of some projects here at codeplex and they were not displayed in my sharepoint. I know that you have to set the scope value to "Site" in order to display the webpart in the gallery and s.o. (had some issues before and started a new project when i was developing my own webparts and never found an option to change the scope).

I have imported the project into my VS and it already has the right structure to use with WSPBuilder, the way i see it, i only have to set the right scope and i am ready to go.

Any ideas/solutiions?

The scope your are talking about is located in the WebPart's feature.xml file and can be changed easily.
