having troubles with international characters

Hi, I have some files I want to provision using a Wsp builder project. These files may have some international characters like "é", which is frequently used in French. What I try to deploy the solution, I have to following error : Unable to deploy solution Inner exception(1): chec de l'extraction du fichier .cab dans la solution. Inner exception(2): Impossible de terminer cette op‚ration. After a few investigation, I discovered that the file name are not good in the cab file. For instance, the "é" in my filename is transformed to "é", which looks like encoding problem somewhere. I've set up wspbuilder to output the ddf file. The ddf file keeps correctly the file name so I imagine the cab file building has a problem. Does anyone have a solution or a workaround ? Thanks in advance, Steve

I had the same problem.

My solution is, to save the file in Visual Studio via "File, Advanced SaveOptions", and select "Unicode (UTF-8 without signature) - Codepage 65001". The option is at the bottom of the list.
